Does any know of some good niche ideas that would generate income for a new website? I believe I know what and how to get good traffic...just looking for ideas where there is good potential without being too competitive.
Use the Google Adwords Keyword tool. It shows you how much competition exists from bidding advertisers for any keyword you enter. The more competition, the more money, the more publishers in that market. Find some keywords that are middle of the road for the best chance.
Start a new premium link generator site. The site is really easy to get traffic and revenue with minimal effort in term of promoting

Try to google "top 100 adwords keywords" There are results of expensive keywords. Although they are not all accurate, you could have reference.
The highest clicks you will be getting is $2-$3 per click at most. Don't believe those webpages that say $65 per click and go out and make a website about cancer treatments or luxury travel. The highest paying niches are of course travel, health (cancer, weightloss, etc), and IT products.
