I noticed there is no problem inserting any nickname when creating a hotlink, not the actual clickbank username. I tried to find information on this issue but nothing is specified. Thanks
I think you need some schooling: 1. it's called a hoplink 2. I think you are mixing nickname and publisher name up. There is only one standard way hoplinks should be structured, and you only get one cbid per account you open. You do not get a cbid and a nickname, they are one and the same. This is how standard links look: http://YOURCBIDNAME.PUBLISHERID.HOP.CLICKBANK.NET So if you are promoting a publisher named 'ebook123' your link should look like this: http://websurfpro.ebook123.hop.clickbank.net
I think I understand the difference beetween the nickname and the publisher id. The nickname should be the username we signup with clickbank and the publisher ID is the username someone useses to post a new product in the marketplace. What I wanted to say is why do we have the option to insert any nickname in the box when creating a hoplink when we only have one username and the sistem could simply use it directly. Let say I signed up with CB under te username digitalpoint then I would have a hoplink somethink like What I want to know is if I can use a different nickname instead of digitalpoint. Thanks
Some people create more than one account on clickbank. Usually publishers use different id as publisher and affiliate. use only those nicknames by which you have an account with cb. If in doubt you can use my nickname
i am still confused .. because poeple are allowed to create more than one account is this why clickbank inserted this option to allow the affiliate to insert any of his usernames when creating a hoplink? Its a simple question i believe most of you have passed by this matter. I simply want to use a different username when creating the hop link then the username I signed up to CB.
what the hell you make no sense boy.. You can't change your user name.. only way is to create a NEW ACCOUNT.
