Apologies for the double post. I realised that this forum was better
My blog is updated daily, has 130 back links, I get about 80 visitors a day but still I have no Page Rank. Could anyone please advise me on why this is ?
I cannot post proper links yet as haven't been on the site for 7 days.

How old is the blog? There might not have been a visible toolbar pagerank update since you launched it.

edit: you have pagerank somewhere between zero and one - thats why the toolbar is white.

When you opened your blog? If it is not older than 2 months you may need one more pr update I think.

You have to wait for a next Google udate to get your PR back. There was no update after you changed your domain in July.

130 backlinks should be enough for maybe PR2, depending on the PR of the websites linking to you. You should at least get some PR once Google does a mass PR update. Of course you'll want to keep building links at a regular pace to build up your PR and rankings. If you build links too fast you might get a penalty from Google.

How fast is too fast to get penalized? I guess what I am asking is what do you want to avoid doing in all the process of building links, writing articles, etc.

The domain change reset the "google sandbox clock" and therefore you didn't make the PR update. Don't worry about it, keep building links and get your sigs working here. You will do fine in ~December timeframe when the next PR update should happen.

I saw someone else said the next update is November 17th. Is that something that is public knowledge or does google not share that info?

How old your blog is? one more thing do not rum after PR. You are getting enough traffic it is better. Now wait for next Page Rank Updates. Till that time keep building good links for your blog.

Forum posting, social bookmarking, blogging and other that instant and that we can change anytime, those links won't help page ranking. you should do real link building. All links should be and your should be follow these rules:-
Link must on heigh page rank.
Link page mustn't more than 30 links whre your link is placed.
Link page must be google chached.
Link site must be unique content.
Link page must not use black hat technics, hidden text, cloacking, dowersy pages.
Link must not place on link farm or adult content's site.
your site will rank. Please read google guidelines for link buildings.

Hi oliver. I believe and has been already said by a fellow DP member, that domain change resets the 'google sandbox' clock. Google sandbox is a aging filter and your website would come out of it with time. Keep on building links but pay utmost attention to the fact that they should be thematically relevant.

Do you rank on any of the keywords yet??

Nobody knows for sure, except for Google. Based on past trends, it'd be towards the end of October - start of November.

But, seriously, stop worrying about PR!
