I have two sites from last week which servers adsense ads. After initial two days it stopped serving relevant ads. After googling one SEO told it was a bug with adsense. Pl advice how to get proper ads on the following. http://kickstartsoa.googlepages.com http://kickstartuml.googlepages.com
From my past experience with AdSense, I learned that you will have targeted ads first and formost from your site URL. For instance if your site is about cars and your domain name is coolcars.com - I guarantee you will be getting great car related ads. However if your site is about cars but your domain name is something like braziliangetaways.com - chances are you won't have nicely targeted ads. kickstartsoa as catchy as it is, is not going to get the clue to the bot. Secondly, (and it is just as important) it is the content. You have to make a paragraph or two what your site is all about, so that the bot would pick up the key words in them. Just my 2 cents.
Its based on your content. If your ads don't match try adding the keywords you want in your text. Example for a car site: change "I like the newest model best, the 09 is much sleeker" to "The newest model of this car is the best, I like the 09's body compared to the older model of this car". You've now made your sentence very keyword rich for the word car and if your entire page is like this you will be getting ads targetted for the keyword 'car'.
Well then you can use section targeting https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...3168&sourceid=ASO&subid=en_asblog&medium=link
This often happens for no apparent reason sometimes as well...I guess when Google tweeks things, but if it is happening longer than 1-2 days, it's another issue. What is mentioned above is great advice...I would take it.
There is nothing you can really do about that. Readjust content of page, bold terms that are relevant and important, and wait. Some of my sites get those damn public service ads that drive me insane. Isn't hurrican katrina 3 years old!?
Add a paragraph or two on each page. Wait for about a week. When the bot scans your pages if it picks up on your content it will display the right ads. But you HAVE to place reasonable paragraphs. Something that defines your site/blog.
You have to add some content to the blog...so, adsense will crawl that and display ads relevant to that content.
Two portions you have to focus: 1) Domain and sub-domain which contain keyword you want. 2) Your content top left of the web page must have the keywords you want. Normally focus on title or sub-title. This is not bug issue, this is optimization web page. Hope help.
I think it is because of the content on your sites. The content on your site attracts the adsense ads based on the keyword and its population on a particular page. If you have no keywords or Too many keywords, which are not targeted to a specific topic, you may get random ads. The advertisers also define some keywords where they would want to show their ads. All the combination may end up sending wrong ads on your web page.
Check my video tutorial site http://pdf2word.blogspot.com. If the video unit ad displays something totally irrelevant, how will the visitor click on my video ad.
