I usually make $200ish but have only made one sale this month so far, made $16 commission, not looking good but there's plenty of time left for that too change...hopefully!
Sorry to hear that. Guess the recession is hurting everybody. Been pretty consistent on my end though. Things should pick up. People will be looking for other ways to make more money. It just takes time.
sales on the up for majority of sites and only down on a couple which may be because I have been experimenting with ad placements (should listed to my own advice if it ain't broke don't fix it!) i have noticed on some of my merchant partners a lower average order value mainly on the high price items. so this has affected commissions slightly but am as a lot of merchants are pushing money into their affiliate program (e.g. bonus and higher commissions) i hope this won't be an issue.
Mate, one suggestion. Don't promote something expensive, no matter how good it is. THe recession hits everyone, so when you promote cheaper offers, people would be more interested to buy it.

sold cambuddy.com for $2000 last night, jumbotube.com for $3500 today + a lot of coffee, including a 6 month coffee of the month club member that will rebill... overall it looks like the summer being over has got things moving upward
The August was bad month, as usually. It happens every year cause most of people go to vacation. September sales are getting better, hope to make a good sum.
