No I haven't. I'm hesitant to use AdSense for feeds because I fear that people will unsubscribe from the feed and I will get less web traffic. If anyone has set this up, have you noticed a decrease in the amount of subscribers?
Thats not the case at all. I had Feedburner Ads for over 1 year and i didnt any such pattern. In fact, i am also not able to start migration yet. am really keen to get ads in my feeds, since i have huge feed subscribers.
I think there is no much different... They are just trying to say that google bought feedburner and the url for my feed changes, and it really sucks for the ads, because %80 ads on it is from the url name... and it make the ads not related to my post.
Is there a way to track them through a channel? I have channels set up and i get a few stray clicks here and there and there is no way of telling where they came from
you referring too google feed ads or feedburner FAN ads? can you tell me how did u setup google feed ads?
I use Adsense for feeds. It's not intrusive at all, so I wouldn't worry about scaring away subscribers (hopefully your content speaks for itself). I haven't seen mind-blowing results, but I'm only showing one banner at the bottom of the posts, so it's not the greatest placement by any means. The few clicks I have gotten have almost all been more valuable than my average click on the site though
It migrated just fine. Took a week or two before Google completed the migration (which they notified me by email once complete), but afterwards, all was well.
There are still some bugs I think but here is a guise. http://myseoblog.net/2008/08/25/how-to-setup-adsense-for-feeds/
I emailed them using that migration form but haven't heard from them yet. Let me check with some friends @ Feedburner.
Just to clear something up....we would not want to create a new feed with google because then we would start with zero subscribers, right?
Manual migration has been stopped by Google for they are developing the automated migration... and are some bugs on manually migrated feeds.
