I was joined hostgator affiliate last day. I want to know, what type of sale we can get commission? one month host sale or must one year host sale? how long the costumers must allow in hostgator until we get our commission?

 

i believe you get commission on ANY sale.

 

if im honest for such a great hosting company thier affiliate reputation is terrible, ive not been payed a few times

try bluehost they have a much better program

 

Have you been paid at all? Have you asked them why you haven't been paid yet?

 

hostgator pay for any hosting sale.. but pay after 60 days and can ask refund for fraud sales

 

Hostgator has a 60 day money back guarantee on their sales so after that period they will pay you because the site has been paid for at that point of no return. They pay for any hosting but tend to payout on Prepaid multiple year hosting faster because they already have the money and will not give refund at that point.

 

I think you have to try CJ for more webhosting affiliates

 

I love hostgator affiliate program. There plans are quite easy to sell. I never had any problem with them. They will pay you for every client that stays with them at least 2 months. You shouldn't have all your eggs in one basket, so try cj.com where you can find couple dozen of hosting affiliate programs. I think that is smart that you rotate your hosting banners, because that way you could get more sells.

 

Does Hostgator have any coupons or discounts that affiliates can offer to potential customers? (Like what Dreamhost does?)

I've got a site that could benefit from any hosting companies who like to use these promos to encourage sales. Maybe its time to check out CJ...

I have about 4-6 sales so far. Not that bad considering the fact I'm not promoting it. However I'm still waiting to get paid.

I will. It has been 2-3 months and still no payment. But I'm here waiting patiently

 

2-3 month since you get the costumer or 2-3 month since the costumer spend their minimum 2 month with Hostgator? because I think, the costumer must with them at least 2 month...CMIIW

Yes CJ worth the place .. man its Gives u much worth place and give u all bundel money instead of going alone with each || i got 4 sales last-last month 2 (host gator) 2 from another network and received my payments..!!
