I might need someone to install an ecommerce site on my hosting, basically either OsCommerce or Magneto (sp) and then set it up so all I have to do is add the products and then promote the site. Like I say I'm not 100% sure if I actually need but i'd like to get an idea of who could do it and for what price?

are you sure magento can be installed on any hosts ... i have heard it installs only on specific magento compatible hosts. pm me if you can do.

Yes it can however there will be a "BIG" performance/speed issue. The recommended host will be dedicated servers and it should be linux systems. My recommended hosting provider for magento is simplehelix.com
Yes..Magento require PDO_MySQL to be enabled in the Linux hosting server..many host do not enable this by default.. If you are interested, just PM me... You can see I have sample Magento site done on my website, ecompsolts.com Thanks.
