I'm wondering if my adsense income passes a certain threshold, will it prompt an automatic review from Google. In the USA any bank transaction of 10,000 USD generates a report to the government used to track illegal dealings. I had wondered if I passed 10,000/month would Google look at my account. I'd prefer to stay under the radar, but I'm not sure there is any radar. Some of my traffic comes from Adwords. I'd really appreciate if anyone has some information on this. Thank you.
Sure, thanks, guys. To further clarify, I'm not worried about the government review. I actually thought it would be kinda cool to get paid enough money for the FBI to run it through their computers. It's the REAL authority that makes me nervous.....GOOGLE! It is them that I Love and Fear. I'd really like to know though as it might change my strategy. Thanks anyone who might know for sure.
As long as you are doing legal and legitimate business, why afraid? That's why it's always good to lieve here.. LOL.. Government don't care how much you are earning...
$10,000 is the amount that triggers an AUTOMATIC report. ANY transaction, however, may be reported. For adsense, though, look at it as income. If you have an income of more than $10,000 per month, would every paycheck be fully-investigated? The first probably, the second maybe, the rest, yes, but there would be precedent. Just make sure you've got enough taxes coming out to cover the hit when it comes time for filing, though, or things may not be pretty!!!!!
LOL... I think $70K/month is not enough for him... he needs to pay tax too so the $10K will be fine for tax..
It is quite hard to find ppl earning around 10,000$ for me... Congratz, you are earning incredibly lots of money
