Would it be better to do www.site.com/type/category/index.php?id=##### or www.site.com/type/category/Title-Of-File With the second way of course you must have a unique title for every single page and there may be thousands. What would you say is better for SEO and for the second one is it better to have a trailing / or it doesn't matter?
Obviously the second option is better as search engines would have a much easier time crawling and indexing these urls. It is always better to use static urls instead of dynamic urls that pass variables through the url. Mod rewrites make this relatively easy. It shouldn't matter if you use the trailing slash or not. Also I have heard that you should avoid going too many folders deep. 2 folders should be fine though.
url should be always with the keyword which you want to get rank. so that you will get good rank. and also avoid dynamic urls
Second have disadvantage aswell, for example imagine that title is 10words long, so it makes url really long, personaly i don't like such as thing, ofcourse it tells visitor what about is page, but also makes url too long and when visitors want to share link they become unacceptable, i prefer simple with page id.
Yeah.. I agreed with camy.. Second one option is very good and first one is also ok if Titile, meta etc are relevant to page content.
