Transferring a SMF forum?

    Hey can anyone help me? I need to transfer an SMF forum to someone elses hosting but am unsure how to do it.

    Hi, First find out which database that smf forum is using by opening the config.php file. Next, backup (export) that database by going to Phpmyadmin in cpanel...and send that database to the buyer and also transfer the domain name..and his hosting support help him to install the database in his account.

    Ive had a look everywhere in the directory and cant file this file

    its called Settings.php. this file has your database name in it.
    chances are its the only database you have?

    Ok i found that one and the database username and password in it, but these details dont work when i try and log into phpmyadmin?
