Hi there I'm new at this Google Adsense but was wondering if i put in a keyword and its CPC: $0.17 - $0.29, Estimated Clicks/Days: 28 - 43, Estimated Cost/Day: $5 - $20. Does this stats means and that a good niche to build a site on? I'm not sure what to look for and does it all depend on the corporate sponsors where they spend their money on? Much appreciated, CHEERS
Honestly, if you are new than don't worry about the niche. Work on something which you likes and you will go way far than starting #xxxxxx blog on weight loss. Having a site with 1000 daily views, 50 clicks with each click worth 10 cent is better than a site with 50 views, 3 clicks each of 50 cent. And the stats you have mentioned, as per CPC, I don't think its a very high paying niche. Its an average one.
Well even though it has low CPC but the number of clicks which you can get in a day is quite reasonable. Not sure about the CTR whether it is high since you didn't mention the number of impressions you are getting. I think as long as your end of the day earning is acceptable, it's something worth your time spent on it.
Hey thanks guys, Well the only thing is that I haven't started yet but was thinking of using that keyword to build my site on
Daily view is that the same as Estimated Clicks/Days? Cause I was trying to find out. So the higher CPC: $0.17 - $0.29, Estimated Clicks/Days: 28 - 43, Estimated Cost/Day: $5 - $20 then the better right?
You're talking about the AdWORDS estimation tool. The CPC of the keyword is what someone would pay Google to run an Adwords campaign using that keyword. As an Adsense publisher, you would get about half of that amount for someone clicking the same ad on your site. The estimated clicks per day is based on the ad being shown on Google searches, not on what traffic you would be able to get to your site. That depends entirely on how well you could rank for keywords. Don't think I'm being too discouraging - Even though it sounds like a tiny amount of money, we're talking about one keyword and one page of a website. If your site has thousands of pages indexed, there are that many more opportunities for you to make money.
I suggest you do not worry about Niche much. Just do not make a site with a proxy or such Niche as they pay low. The real thing that matters is the traffic. Traffic = $$$ no matter what the Niche is.
