I agree. People want to perpetuate the idea that it is really complicated so that you keeping buying their ebooks and services.
Barb, Sometimes it is complicated and some of the reasons are too much optimization can lead to a huge drop in SERPs due to penalties. Let's take a look at the two main SEO tactics. 1- On Page Optimization- You optimize all your keywords in the tags, descriptions, etc, this is simple enough. If you stuff too many of your keywords on the page you may see poor results. Also, too many outbound links can also hurt your rankings if the "no follow" isn't being used. 2- Off page optimization- The key here is to use a good link building strategy with your anchor text and get as many as possible. A very rapid rate of link building can lead to a penalty. If all of your links are only for your anchor text, this may result in not ranking well i.e. your links need to have some variations with the majority being your anchor text. These are only a few examples where getting good SERPs gets pretty complicated. The search engines are always tweaking their algorithms so being aware and taking action when needed is a must in todays market.
Barb - Although SEO concepts are easy to understand, they are very difficult to implement because of the competition and what they do. Being on page two is not OK if you want to make money.
its not really complecated but does take time and patience. and patience is something lot of people dont have
SEO may sound complicated but the fact is that, most of the time there are only few rules to follow and the hardest part is actually on the implementation aspect.
The hardest part is actually following through will the tasks that need to be done (like link building) but you do have to have a solid knowledge of SEO and some good experience testing with it to see results faster.
Lead generation is main aim to seo. we compllicated but some time we can't get SERPs. anyway should keep regular seo.
Do one thing till you master it..Rinse then repeat a second one..Won't take long if you are cosistant
That might work for a little while, but with something as versatile as search engine rankings, you require your tactics over time to adjust to the search engine updates.
hi folks, the real problem for the SEO is the informastion we must have to do it. when you do not have it, you are out. this makes common sense so more info, it becomes easier
I add one more is good content (many people search for it). Unique content, but no popular content, you will not get traffic.
Yes I agree on that - good content is most important, links come next - SEO is getting with the quality contents written on the keyword you want to get ranked for. Links are also important to be done correctly with the proper URL in the link and description too.
