Well it took me a long time to make this but I finally got it how I want it.

What do you think? I don't have any driving directions on there yet but I'll be collecting those shortly.

    Thanks! :D

I think it looks nice but I recommend looking at wordpress to do what you want it to do. Looks like a lot of extra work that is not necessary if you just have wp backend installed. just my 2 cents.

Why wordpress? It wasn't a lot of work, I just procrastinated, that's why it took a long time.

The design is very basic but it works, I think you should have some pictures on the
first page, pictures from inside the church when service is taking place.

If I was to change one thing, it would be the header. Its a bit plain. If changed, it would dramatically improve the whole page in my opinion.

Its clean - though in terms of design it looks very early web.

A design no-no's is the use of different fonts and sizes on different pages.

Unless you intention is learning to code in PHP, I agree that something like this would be best built using Wordpress or another CMS

    You wanna see early?

That was what I upgraded it from. Why do you guys want me to not do my own coding/programming? Think it sucks or what?

Not at all but here a well worn saying:
"Good Programmers Code; Great Programmers Steal"

In general, don't try coding something if there is a tool that can do what you want to code.

I think you did nicely and have no problem with coding...i'm a designer myself. Don't f with wordpress. Your upgrade is a ton better. I understand where Montuno is coming from...but i've never stolen graphics...just an idea for a design, then did my own graphics. I think it's good now, but if you ever want to redesign, or just mess around...find a site you like, and just experiment with downloading that code to see how it is laid out and designing and pluggin in your own graphics. Table backgrounds and logo headers and buttons are what really make a site.

If you use Wordpress, you still need to design your own layout and graphics (or use a template) - you just get tons of other programmers helping you out with plugins you couldn't possibly do on your own.

Oh.. and "steal" here is not literal.

I fully agree with that suggestion. Exactly what I was going to say after looking at the site.

The churches are really small, and actually ours probably gets about 12 people each Sunday. I don't think that would be a good idea with so many empty seats.
