Is this allowed? (Using Adsense and Fonts)

Ok so, I am interested in changing the links on my page to match the font that appears in Adsense ads. Is this allowed? I reviewed the T&C and didn't seem to find much, but I thought maybe someone here has experience with this in the past.

Good deal. Thanks for the reply. Now to just go through all of my pages and make the adjustment. (I use HTML, so it is one notepad at a time, haha.)

I am not sure about this matter.

People at DP say that it is ok to blend the ads. That is, making the ads look more like content. I personally am confused as I see this statement

"It's difficult to distinguish the ads from the content on this site."

On this page [Reporting Adsense Violation]

    google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?search_ask=1&subtopic=&contact=rpv&main_topic=other&contact_type=11&contact_topic=Report+a+policy+violation&Action.Search=Continue

I think there's a difference between blending them and making them look like content. When I think of blending I think of using similar color schemes and placing ads in smart locations. When I think of making them look like content I think of people being a bit tricky which is where you may get into trouble. I've seen people who have menu lists and slip in an adsense link list in the middle so it looks like part of the menu rather than an ad.

Ambiguity is common with adsense policy. They never tell anything specific as they like to see problems case by case.

You can blend the colors of the ads with the next, no problem with that. But blending the ads too much in the content and tricking people is not allowed. Lot of people change the size of the ads to hide the "ads by google" text. That's certainly not allowed.

What both poseidon and vagabondette are saying is definitely true. Basically we can/allowed to do all we want to make the color scheme and font to match our content but tricking and deceiving people into thinking that those are navigation link is definitely not allowed.

You can always do what you want unless you do not alter the adsense ad codes..aside from colors

Or "unless you DO alter" As far as blending, you can go too far. I have seen sites banned because they blended too far. The links right above and below the ad unit all looked like the ad unit, and there was no distinction between the Google ads and the content. This is deception and will probably not be accepted. A lot of people are under the misunderstanding that blending should mean hiding the fact that the ad unit IS an ad unit. This is not blending. Blending means making the ad integrated to the flow of your site's content.

As for notepad, I use it occasionally, usually I just fire up vi I'm not one for using any of these packages, but to each his own, use what works. If notepad works for someone, why not stick with it.
