Social network script - Socialengine or DZOIC?

anybody using this socialengine.net script??

would like to see how it looks on a live site.......

looks just like Facebook........

any feedback?

with the custom options i am wanting....cost is $500.......

phpizabi is great you can modify and desighn to meat all your needs.
In the market place is tons of modules to add to your site.

If you would like to use this site you will need to keep the powered by phpizabi on the site, But if you want to make it your own you may buy the license and remove the powered by

If you still haven't made up your mind, could i suggest skadate unity.

 

i have used all the social networking scripts and i have to say phpfox and social engine are the best ones. If you want to see them in action social engine Adult Social Network and phpfox Social Networking and dzoic Social Network also i used to have phpizabi on xadultspace.com but got hacked after having 25K members and just started it over on social engine 2 days ago so be aware of this. friendwise.com has 25K members right now. Also note when having a social networking site if you have this many members you do need a dedicated server.

I have been looking at different scripts also and I like Handshakes so far. I like the fact that there will be support but everything else I look at that compares to Handshakes has mods that costs money so in the end you seem to pay anyway. Am I right or can anyone else show me all the features that Handshakes has but in a open source (free) script?

 

I got a handshakes license for sale for $175

It's without the copyright removal, but it include updates until January 2010.

 

The only thing I have tried and really liked was Phpizabi. I uploaded it to my server with no problems, and even placed ads where I wanted it. In my opinion it is the best open source script out there. But if I were you I would try to stick away from facebook clones, they dont stand out. Why would we even need two facebooks...right?

For me none of these are ok.. I prefer custom made scripts or scripts based on abledating or emeeting. I use coders to make changes.

 

How do you like socialengine?

 

Well i think that a script should contain A LOT MORE than needed, so that you could SWITCH OFF features and make your site UNIQUE. And socialengine contains less than needed

 

I personally like socialengine and I don't think that small number of mods and plugins is a huge problem. New ones are appearing constantly. The script itself is one of the best social community scripts. And I'm sure as the time goes by it'll become just as popular as phpfox is.

 

Well maybe, will see when the new mods will appear now it is next to nothing (my PERSONAL opinion).
