I'm not sure exactly how your service is designed, but I guess you fetch the backlinks from Yahoo and then use each URL to check PR and parse the page for info regarding the link. Wouldn't it be possible to just use regular expressions to filter out the internal links after fetching the backlinks from Yahoo? That new sorting feature looks great btw!
I think that the one offer by WE BUILD PAGES AT webuildpages.com/neat-o/ is one of the better one..as it shows the links from the 1000 different domains along with the keywords..... who are linking to your site. Narender Pal Singh
Are ANY of these backlink tools available as commercial PHP scripts anywhere on the net?? I've been searching high and low in most nooks and crannies .. I can see the small free scripts but nothing on the level of dnscoop.com, validrank.com or linkvendor.com Any suggestions?
Does seem better than Google. But signature links from forums like this do not appear. Do they not count as backlinks?

For me, the Google webmaster tools seem to correspond best with number of visitors. So this is the one I tend to use. But I run a content-based website and your mileage may vary. As always it's a case of 'horses for courses'.
