UN to demand Israel pay Lebanon $1 billion (Why The UN Sucks...)

    And my opinion is

Why should Israel have to pay for a war that was forced upon it?
Hizballah should be the target of Ban Ki Moon's wrath, since it is an ILLEGAL TERROR ORGANIZATION.

In this Orwellian world we live in, the legally legitimate nation-state gets punished for defending its citizens against an illegal organization that breached internationally recognized borders.

This would be laughable were it not so serious. This just shows the absurdity of the UN, and proves that it should be abolished, and the UN Building in New York be torn down and turned into a nice parking garage.

The UN is run by a cabal of some of the worst human rights offenders in the world. For the UN to sit in judgment of Israel is akin to having Charles Manson sit in judgment of the Dalai Lama. When the UN takes action against Sudan, Somalia, Zimbabwe, China for its continued occupation of Tibet, fights for an independent state for the Kurds, seeks redress for the massacre of the Armenians, and disciplines North Korea, then they will have something to say.

Until then, I say abolish the UN. New York can always use a nice parking garage. :p

    What do you say?

If you would learn to talk AND listen you would not have damages to pay for destruction caused.

The war was started by Israel to which lots of money was lost.

This seems like the right move, it is not like it will affect the treasure standards of Israel.

    Peace,

lets wait and see what comes out of it. but if it is true then it seems that iranians are getting good return on their investment. another testimony to the failure of bush and olmert strategy and style of diplomacy.
after another bush term conducted by the old man and the persian empire will be back.

Ban Ki Moon can ask me to pay also. He has about as much chance of getting money from me as he does Israel.

What a joke. There is zero authority or obligation for Israel to pay. If anyone should pay, Hezbollah should have to reimburse Israel for all the munitions they has to waste defending their border from a terrorist organization. Actually Lebanon should pay for allowing terrorist to attack Israel from their country.

The UN watched and video taped terrorist kidnap Israeli soldiers and then lied about having the tape. The UN has no credibility when it comes to Israel.

The UN does not qualify Hizballah as an illegal terror organization.

I agree 100% but remember, Israel does it everyday in the Palestinian territory

Yeah, causing so much environmental damages is really "defending" against terrorists!
But hey! It is Israel so is anyone really surprised how they "defended" themselves? I am 100% sure noone was surprised...
And Israeli facist and their apolgoists will always pull out UN resolutions when they are in favour of Israel but when comes to Israeli obligations and resolutions which are not in favour of Israel they will say something like:"The UN has no credibility when it comes to Israel." blah blah
And please, stop repeating same old BS about borders! Israel still don't have defined borders and will not have it for a years to come!

Israel should send the bill back to the UN for failing to enforce the boarder that they were put there to protect.

Some people still don't know what a non-binding resolution is.

Although I don't agree with iggysick on many issues, IMO he is right this time.
Ask any honest and nonbiased person from any country about Israel and he will tell you iggysick is right on these Israely issues.
Many of the international problems US has are due to her unconditional support of Israel.
Isn't it surprizing that in the "most democratic" (I am not sure if anybody buys that anymore) country in the world one can hardly ever speak trully and openly about Israel's discrimination and oppression of the Palestinians on any of the news channels?

LOL. That has about as much sense as saying most of Russia's problems come as a result of their support of regimes like Iran.

You should stick to posting your pro Russian propaganda and kissing Putin's ass. At least you are the best on the forum at that.

Thanks for the good words Mr. Nice man. As usual unprepared. Your advice is comletely disragarded as utter nonsense.
BTW, how did you grade in school?

    P.S.
Just a hint to help you get enlighted on the 9/11 terrorist act (if you consider that a problem). Do some search about what motivated the terrorists.

I am 100% sure your answer for the time being is one of the typical brainwashed american: "They don't like our freedoms, and big houses and way of life that's why they hate us.".

I don't think terrorists should dictate US foreign policy.

Ironically, the one religious group who you think the US should listen to in foreign policy is the fundamental islamists? What a joke you have become.
