I have a main website and wondering how can I promote my secondary domain redirected

Hi fellows!

I have a main website for my business - SiteMain.ca and wondering how can I promote my secondary domain SiteMain.org currently redirected to the original developed SiteMain.ca in order to get extra traffic, have better web presence and etc. Can directory / article directory submission or link building be considered? What should I do with that 2nd domain with exactly the same name as a main one but different .TLD to promote my online business?

you can redirect and can lot of link & traffics but this policy is not valid for search engines. May be count as fake domain. If you are doing so than careful about this method.

 

when your going to redirect your secondary domain SiteMain.org to SiteMain.ca then why do u need to promote and bring traffic to your secondary domain???

 

Thanks. Looking for more answers still. How should KI use this secondary site then? Develop to something similar or twin site and promote it/ do SEO online for it in order to get more targeted traffic?

 

You may wish to put SEO friendly articles of your niche to your secondary domain and link to the first from there to get good ranking, don't forget to host both on separate locations(IPs).

Perhaps you can make the other website a blog, with real content.. something like the official blog of your website.. and redirect traffic.
