I need DP users help.. bloody stupid paypal (this IS a CB related thread)..

Ok here's the crack..

Back in August 2007 my paypal account became limited because I accidentally changed it to a business account. So thats no sending/recieving, no nothing.

I've been using moneybookers for all my transactions.. its great, but who accepts moneybookers? Exactly.. its been hell. And of course do Clickbank use moneybookers? Hell NO.

Ok so I opened a new account, and even opened a new bank account dedicated to online stuff. Little did I know the card I recieved was not a visa/electron.. just a standard cash card, and you cannot add them to paypal..

Now I've spent the last 2 weeks working my ass of to get my very first product up and running, not knowing there was an activation fee. So im happy to pay.. but can i? HELL NO.

I cannot add my existing visa electron to my new paypal account because its attached to the limited one.

When i wrote to paypal last August, i got a reply saying type the dispute report number thing in your account to find a detailed description of the problem and how to solve it.. guess what.. NO BLOODY REPORT!!!

And to make things worse, now I cant even login to my old limited account.

What the hell do I do? Im paypal less. Ive got like $20 but when I try to pay the activation fee it insists i add a card to my account to pay.

ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

 

This has nothing to do with CB. Misleading title.

Its in this section because this is the section full of people I know and have spoken with. And its everything to do with CB, its the reason Im asking for advice, im trying to bring a product to the world.

I'm curious as to the link to CB as well? Are you trying to pay clickbank with paypal?

Can't you pay clickbank directly with your creditcard without using your paypal account?

 

Sorry, when I first read the thread I thought you were talking about your own product and I had no clue why in the world you'd be trying to get a paypal account going when CB handles that itself.

Solution: Call up paypal and talk to them. Tell them what you did with your old account and tell them to fix it.

 

Your a good man venrooy. I assumed as clickbank didnt display the electron logo I couldnt use my Visa. I don't own a credit card, and dont plan too.

i don't know what could be the real solution to this; but know this that it would be more productive if we stope thinking about the damm title and start helping the guy out if we can

As far as I know, even with Cash Card you can use Paypal, because I got a paypal account, where the money goes to my Savings account, which is a cash card.

So if I can withdraw money to cash card via Paypal, that means I can deposit using it as well.

Try it. Basically register a paypal account with your cash card and try to deposit money.

 

I'm not sure where PHAZ lives, but paypal actually prefers that you set up a bank account with it. Now, here we don't use our bank cards, you have to give them your bank account number and transit information. Than they'll deposit two different amounts (like 0.08 and 0.03) and you have to report those numbers to paypal to verify it.

 

I think that's the same for everyone. I did that as well with both my current and saving accounts. Worked fine.

I am just not sure, whether you can deposit money in Paypal using cash card.

 

Yeah i got my bank working, but when I went to pay for clickbank activation it insisted I used a card.. with a CVC..

And my cash card doesnt have a CVC

 

Do they accept activation fee to be paid via Paypal? If yes, then try what I've written above.

 

PHAZ when you say "cash card" do you mean like a bank card, or do you mean a cerdit card that is prepaid?

 

You can add bank account as your source instead of CC in paypal. Bank account option is only available to US accounts I think.

 

Cash card is like a normal bank account, but it only allows you to withdraw and deposit money. That's it.

You can't shop with it or something else.
