Good title huh, well unfortunately its not what it seems to be OK enough of joking I think I have serious situation here. I began with ad sense couple of days ago and I am more focused about the content of the blog than ads itself, so my trafic wasnt so good. So far so good, but here comes the problem: today I showed my blog to a friend while we spoke over msn and I expleined all system of adsense earnings. So he was foolishly thinking that he will do me a big favor and bunch of money if he click on adds, so he did it 10 times in a row. So now my status in adsense account is impressions like 15 clicks 13 and CTR 89%, which is by my opinion nothing more than invitation for ban from the google itself. Now I dont want to be banned so what do you suggest me to do? regards Sinn
how many impressions you get a day usually? if more than 15, then your CTR will be adjusted accordingly and will be lower than 89%. but if you dont get much impressions, then 10 clicks form same IP at the same time might trigger click fraud. i suggest you send an email to adsense support saying that you suspect click blombing on your account. they might just buy that explanation. but be carefull in the future
Never share your sites and blogs that are monetized by adsense or any other channel because they will surely land you in trouble by clicking ads thinking that they are doing you a favor. Let them be as secret as your earnings
Contact adsense support and explain the situation to them and provide them with the IP where these clicks came from and your problem should solved!
The only solution is to contact Adsense, but it may not solve the situation in all the cases. My friend had the exact situation as to yours. He had started a adsense campaign and on the 3rd day, he got like 12 clicks from the same IP on the same day. Despite reporting this to Google, his account was banned Google's explanation was that campaigns such young as 2 days, 3 days or even 2 weeks could never possibly be targets of click bombing in 90% of cases, since it is rare that competitors will know about your adsense campaign as such an infancy. Absurd explanation, I suppose. What if the competitor is monitoring your site 24/7? However, lets keep hopes high that Google may buy into your explanation and I wish you all the best... EDIT: Don't provide the IP in any case!!! Just act as if you do not know the origin of the clicks, except that you suspect it might be one of your enemies (former friend) with whom you recently had an argument about revenue sharing or stuff....
contact google support at once....and remember......dont give site urls to ur freinds at any cost..................
How much does it take for them to bann you ? Can someone provide me any email or soemthing where I can report this pls? Regards Sinn
No need to report them as if now, just try to increase your page impressions and try to brieng CTR bit down so that it looks decent. But make sure only page impressions are increased and not clicks otherwise it will be an open invitation to google to bann you. Cheers!
If your blog is new, getting such a high CTR will surely raise alarm bells. You can give google an email and request them to refund the money back to advertisers, rather than receiving a warning from them.
I wrote them a mail, now all I have to do is to wait and hopefully they will not bann me . Guys thx for advices, I will report you as I receive reply from them. Regards Sinn
You have t rigged someone to make damage to you... just don't do it again and the nest time you tell your friends, be careful of what you are saying...
Well as I said I wrote them mail with explanantion. Now its up to them tho I am very egar to see how they will rply. Hopefully it wont me and my adsense.
