What are the best home business related affiliate programs?

I'm searching for affiliate programs that are related to home business. Ones that I've found that seem promising are The Rich Jerk and Rosalin Gardener's Super Affiliate Handbook. Any other recommendations would be well-appreciated. :)

MakingYouRicher is one of the best out there. It's a complete package including an E-Book about how to make money with affiliate marketing, a membership site and web hosting for 1 year.

All this costs $70 and you get $40 commission for every sale. It's part of the MoreNiche affiliate network.

Some great ones from Market Leverage, both sales and leads! They payout as high as $175 per sale.

here's what i'm into right now...

Healthypetnet.com. Though I'm a lousy record-keeper, so i don't know how much i've actually made. lol. but you sell pet food online, as an affiliate. I've got a ton of customers.

One with a MAJOR commission ($1000) for signing up members is Global Resorts Network. I'd recommend checking out the GRN System if you want to sign up and then subscribe to their system to help market it. otherwise, you might get a little frustrated. they offer a 7 day free trial, so no big deal if you don't like it. if you click that link, you can sign up for Global Resorts Network, take the 7 day free trial of the marketing system, and then use it or lose it. but a lot of people are making money with GRN. i'm trying to build a little team of my own to market it. anyway, you can PM me if you have questions about that one.

There's an ebook on how to get Google ads for free, that pays you to you know, be an affiliate and sell the ebook. it's really informative, and i can't wait to start testing out the suggestions he gives. it's more about how to cover your costs, or have other people cover your costs, while you're marketing an affiliate program or whatever is on your website... worth the read... Free Google Ads (that's my own website, there's a link at the bottom.:) )

I'm sure I can think of others, but that's a good start....

to be honest, amazon has been my favorite affiliate to work with so far. It is a site that everyone trusts so if you get people there, it's an easy sell.

Wow..be careful...I have spent the last 7 months looking for a legitimate home based business and have found only scams...the only one affiliate program I would even consider is the SFI (six figure income) marketing and only because they have been checked out by the BBB. At this point, I am only entertaining home based businesses or affiliate programs that have been researched by the BBB(better business bureau) and have a satisfactory rating.

I haven't had any amazon sites in a while, I am in the process of creating a few more right now though. The last few that I had would easily turn $100 within a month or two of being built. I was flipping them. Building a site, turning $100+ and within a month selling for $1000-1500.

$100 each, per month? not bad. my goal right now is to make $500 a day. i hit that a couple times in the past year, but summer has been sloooow and I'm just making like, $100 a day online right now. trying to bump it back up! I have some ideas... I have amazon on just one of my sites right now, and haven't made any sales. but i'm working on anew site with adsense, advertisers, ebooks and amazon, so we'll see how that goes. :)

Yes, just per month, but like I said I was turning that within a month and then selling the sites. I suppose there are better resourced webmasters out there that could turn more, but I was doing it has a hobby. I'm trying to get back into it because I have set a modest $5-figure goal to get myself started with real estate. Since online is the next thing that I know how to make money with, here I am again... LOL

With Amazon I had sites that made sales every day, and sites that made one sale a week. The difference was the dollar amounts. Books and CDs were not worth the effort. Who cares if you make 20 sales a day if the commission is $.06/ea. Know what I mean?

true. is that really what the commission is on books and CDs? ick. but it's a good idea, the higher priced things... i'll probably look into it. speaking of books, I just finished one called Crash Proof, How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse (bought from Amazon!). you might like to check it out. I just say that because real estate might not be the best investment right now. i'm reading so many books on how to prepare for the dollar's collapse, i dont' know where i'm going to put them all. lol.

Well, if you're going to invest in the collapse of the dollar, better hope it happens! :) I don't think it will though. Have you read "the dollar crisis"? We'll see what happens. I honestly don't feel that anyone can predict one thing or another. And if the dollar does decrease that badly the feds will fight for it. Even now as oil prices begin to drop people are forgetting about the $200/barrel predictions. Housing is still a problem, but it seems to be coming to a head. We'll see though... as I mentioned in my latest blog post, the feds may overtake the largest lenders this weekend or next. That could be good or bad. I personally don't like it, but we'll see what the outcome is. The feds have protected many large corporations in the past and those companies are booming today employing thousands (can anyone say Boeing?).

and yeah, Amazon pays around 6% commission. There are some special circumstances... if you sell x amount of items it goes up, and different things have some bonuses, but for the most part you get that flat commission on everything, so you'll make more on a $2,000 camera than $2.50 book ;)

i'm no expert and probably wouldn't do a good job explaining anything to do with the economy or government, but what the author laid out in that book made sense. i have another book that my friend read, i haven't read it yet, which says basically the same thing. since there's no gold backing, and the government just keeps printing out money (inflation), it causes the dollar to be worth less, and buy less. which is true. have you noticed how quickly prices have gone up in the past few decades?
the book was written before the recent real estate crisis, and he predicted it coming. he also predicted the whole Fanny Mae thing...
i guess one of the major problems is we import, but we don't export, and we borrow too much, and inflate the currency supply... dunno. i'd rather play it safe and invest in foreign stuff. :-D
