Hello there, I wonder whether Google is indexing webpages in real time. They are indexing articles immediately after publishing... Anyone noticed that? - Minterest
I read that popular news sites are read very often as it would appear to be in real time, but other than those sites, they are not indexing in real time.
Forums, and sites that get lots of new content get indexed more often than others. Sometimes it can appear your site is being indexed in real-time, on my old message board, Google bot never left!
This is great news, I've noticed google indexing in realtime recently. I hated waiting 2 weeks to be indexed in the past ambitic
It all depends on what site/s your article has been published on, because some article directories get crawled more often than others.
thats because blogs ping popular services after you make your post.. and sites with higher pageranks get crawled more often because of their importance
It depends how important your site is according to google algo. Some like important news release get indexed almost immediately while some may take days or even weeks.
popular sites get indexed very quickly because they are updated often. Some sites take a while to get indexed though
No. It's not the same for all sites.. If you site is a bit popular and post often, then Google may index in less time.
Well it's not for me. Google indexes some websites instantly (those popular ones) and for some they take time. I have seen this in blogspot where every new blog gets discovered by google the next day. But when you build your own website you have to have some links to get your website discovered by google instantly. My site used to be crawled by google every day (at least the homepage) but now google visits the homepage of my site around only 2 times a week,
I'm not sure if it's in real time but it takes no time at all. Usually in just a few hours for established sites.
