Screensavers.com is down

Hi you all!

I just thought I'd let you know that http://screensavers.com is making changes to their site. This morning I noticed a huge drop in commissions coming from them. So I checked it and none of the affiliate links working. I shot them an email about that.

Maybe you should too if you are promoting them.

 

are you making anything from them with the toolbar download requirement?

 

I wouldn't say I am making a lot. But still it is good to have it as an advertiser. The best part is it has been fairly easy to advertise it on AdWords, although lately it has become more and more difficult to keep the bids to the minimum.

Also, you should look into aLot that recently became part of Screensavers.com. But aLot is good only for US traffic.

 

did you get response from them, I am loosing 1.60$/day

 

For the last 3 months I was making anywhere from $400-1000 on them. Last month it was close to $500.

No I didn't.

I think they are changing their banners and landing pages. Their banners are expiring in about 3 days. So, we'll see.

 

product catalog images are back online. Let see on 15th.

 

I just saw another $330 was added to the $500 in incentives.

 

I have never used their catalog. Is it better than banners?

I just got an email from NeverBlueAds saying that Screensavers.com (they advertise there as well) is temporarily paused as an advertiser.

I am sure in a few days everything will get back to normal. I hope their landing pages will be more attractive.

 

Have just put back the banners today (it seems like Screensavers.com has updated some of their land. pages), let's see if they will convert. Their terms have not changed, so it should be working the same way. I just saw another $300 coming from them. SO, all in all I made over $1200 last month just on them.

 

Nope, still no payments. I asked a friend of mine to download a screensaver, which he did, and he said that now, there's no tool bar anymore, instead, they give you a trial version of a screensaver and then you can buy a full version of it.

I don't feel good about it.

Now Screensavers.com along with alOt has completely expired from CJ. "Nice."

Anyway, if you still have Screensavers.com ads on your site - they are not working anymore and you will not get any commissions from them.

 

damn, there goes good income, time to find other niche.
the weired thing is, I can still access product catalog and get products but destination pages are not there, nice try from screensavers to rob affiliates.

screensavers.com site now officially sucks, what happened to them?
