Paypal Secure Info Leak

Could you imagine what would happen if paypal had a secure information leak? That website must be on terrorist targets from all over the world. It's scary to think about how much money rests within the paypal system. I'm sure they have cutting edge technology to protect us, but hey anything is possible. How can we prepare for this as users?

I really don't see this happening anytime in the near future. I also dont think that it would be a terrorist target. They would target something more physical and real, more than likely. Like 9/11, they targeted buildings to kill people. I see the white house or something like that being targeted next. Not everyone in the US uses paypal but the world trade center caused something big. I don't see the fall or an information leak from paypal that bad. Either they take our money or spend it with our credit cards. Haha xD Get a credit card with a good security policy!

I do not believe terrorists would do that. Its way to risky they would be found to easily. But you never know the guys who hacked comcast haven't exactly been found yet.

PayPal is almost the biggest scam going,
for example take PayPal UK for areguments sake

in 2008 it become illegal to charge a customer by a bank more than "COST" meaning if a payment wasnt made due to incificient funds or you went overdrawn you can now only be charged ONCE per transaction of no more than COST, in my case with my own bank its £8 per month, per transaction. non-recuring after 3 months.

yet paypal get away with charging you PER transaction a % fee.

Yet because they closed there UK Head office they no longer have to abide by the rules. i can soon see PayPal being prossecuted by the general UK users.

I can't see it happening... paypal seem to have a very good eye on things, and as stated before, they stave off attacks all the time. If it was easy to get to them, then people wouldn't resort to phishing attempts to get anywhere near peoples money...

    military encryption FTW

Where does paypal stand regarding the economy? Are they subject to attacks from other financial institutions?

I only think they would have a security leak if they were run by the UK government... there's so many stories of leaks and poor security, we may aswell just give our details to anybody right now...

hopefully paypal are clever than that
