Hi, I'm interested, but I have some questions

    Is the following info correct?

    http://whois.domaintools.com/share0.com

    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.share0.com

I can see a clear slowdown here and I wonder why...

How much 'real' visitors(different IPs) receives the website per month? (pursuant to Compete Rank: 2,295). Would you add some awstats snapshot or something else?

I won't raise the last bids, but if the other transactions fails, pm me with your last offer.

I don't think the slowdown is a lot. Most of it is attributed to the global slowdown and lesser number of people buying rapidshare accounts. But then again alexa rank accounts for all that - in the peak times, the site had a alexa rank of 50K, now it has stabilized to a realistic 80-90K.

I would bid but I've never purchased a site that refuses to show google/analytics, awstats etc... I would like to see the consistentcy of traffic over a period of time , its source: referral, search, direct address.

share0 is also an autoblog and these can get sandboxed for duplicate content. I checked google for a number of your posts and I see the same posts on a lot of blogs that are doing the same thing as you. I've had 2 autoblogs sandboxed in the past. They were getting 1000 uniques a day, then bam, down to 50 uniques a day just like that.

Since this is an autoblog, there isn't as much value in my opinion, you can just sell the site, rinse and repeat, theres no effort involved. So it makes me wonder about all the other blogs out there that are the same as yours, they are pulling content from rlslog.net just like share0.

Alexa rank is also way way way over-rated. You can't say alexa speaks for itself and accounts for everything. I had a 23,000 alexa site that had 230 uniques a day and was doing $1 on adsense. Alexa can be used to justify a sites popularity but not its overall worth and value. This has been discussed on many of the major webmaster forums by a lot of seasoned veterans due to the increase of webmasters making a big deal about alexa lately. Also keep in mind, alexa is just a toolbar so to speak and is over-hyped in justifying a sites value.

If your blog wasn't an autoblog(duplicate content) I'd probably buy it.

Raven, I never refused to show statistics. I have a histats counter on my site and I can provide detailed statistics to anyone who has PM'ed me for it. Suprising you write all those nasty things even without asking. And finally, I already mentioned that the site is an RSS aggregator. For a person who doesn't know the difference between an autoblog and an RSS aggregator, you are better off without bidding!!

Thanks for the support MOG, for what it is worth, I like your idea of a Chrome review site. Especially with all the hype around it, I hope you get tons of visitors.

A few things to note here. Both my autoblogs that have been sandboxed by google were fed via RSS. One thing you don't understand about google is that they don't accept duplicate content. Sure plenty of sites slip through, but eventually most get canned.

Regarding your stats counter, when I clicked on it, it didn't show me any stats. You care to share your daily uniques stats, referrer urls etc.. No sensible person would buy a site without seeing referring urls. You could send hitbot traffic, traffic exchange/auto surf traffic and build your alexa. So far, all I see is your alexa ranking. MOG seems to be satisfied with your traffic, maybe hes seeing stats that I haven't seen yet.

MOG, here is another site identical to share0.com

    http://www.filmarea.net/

There are dozens of others I found as well, PM me and I will show them to you. These autoblogs(eh hem, rss aggregator's) are what's known as "rinse & repeat" sites. Where you create them and flip them for profit. Its more common with proxies and image hosting sites, which you see on DP every day, sometimes 5-10 of them a day even...

MOG if you want to pay $500 for a site that has dozens of identical sites, can be sandboxed at any moment, its up to you. I also feel you've possibly been bid up, as there are people that have just registered that are doing some bidding above with very few posts.

RavenPlus, I usually don't say this but you are an arsehole. That's a sick thing to even think about. Think before making allegations - just because you can't bid doesn't give you the right to post inappropriate comments. Please don't post in my thread again!

Yeah and I asked you twice in PM's several days ago for you to provide stats, as well as several times here in the thread. Not to mention other DP members asking you for stats and you reply that ALEXA speaks for itself makes me vary wary....

Any seller that doesn't want to publicly show their sites stats should be a warning sign to all potential buyers. You've been asked several times already and still don't post them. I have no freaking clue how these bidders are bidding so high without seeing where the traffic is coming from.

Good luck with your auction amy and best of luck to the new owner of this site.
