Can anybody enlighten me as to how to go about this? I see similar sites to mine advertised at $8, and $20, links on the site are sold through adnetworks and net around $18 per link currently? But what about banners and blogposts?
Whats your traffic for the site? That will play a big factor in it as well as how specific the content for your site is it a niche site or broad?
Traffic isn't amazing to be honest around 300+ UV per month, but am working hard to increase that, it does have PR2, established two years, and already has 7 text link spots filled, but i need to fill three more and 3 banner ads.
The thing is that when you buy a text link and pay per click you can't even imagine what kind of auditory is going to come to your site. When you use banner advertising you can get fully targeted offer: Country Age Gender Other specifications So banner advertising should be more expensive and more effective.
Thanks for the info. I have a rough idea in mind, but how do i determine the difference in price for instance, if a text link is $10, should a banner ad and blog post (per link) be $20???
I can't speak too much about banner ads (since those are usually based on traffic) but I can tell you that it's hard to get good pricing on a monthly basis selling links on a site with less than a PR of 3. That's been my experience at least.
