Why is it that no one ever says anything to the asshole who has 80 items that goes through the express lane? Why is it even there if the clerk isnt going to say anything? What is THE FUXXING POINT?

I was a assistant mgr. of a retail store. I always went up to people to tell them its a express line it seems most cashiers will not say a word and some mgrs afraid to tell them because so many complaints emailing to the home office. Once the home office is called even over something like that I know in the store I worked at and my wife store they tell them to give a gift card of 50 dollars this is why alot of stores will just let it go.I am retired know from all that

    Wow, yes, this is annoying!

I often see this and wonder:

    "Can't people read!?"

It clearly says 20 items or less but he has 20+...

can customers complain anything when they broke the rules?

That would be something so unreasonable that the headquarter will punish you and dont listen to your explanation.

That is very annoying, but the clerk cant say anything. In most cases the clerk would loose there job for saying something.

Why didn't you say something to him if it bothered you so much?

I'm surprised there wasn't a Seinfeld episode about this... Or was there? George in the video store?

Easier to say something about it online than speak up in person?

The store near me has 5 self serve scanners that never have a line-- I just scan the stuff myself and zip out in seconds
