i just opened smartftp & write URL & login details to it but it doesn't works. the process is going....
you are trying to upload the plug in correct? your login details will not be your wordpress username and pass, it is your domain primary FTP name and password Log into your domain hosting and find out what they are in your FTP section in your control panel.
i just need to add analytics code to my word press blog & for that do i need domain primary FTP name and password??

Umm.. Actually you don't need to Let's start over, You don't have to use plugins to be able to set up google analytics in your blog, it'd just make things easier (or not) You could just add your analytics code into your footer.php of your current wordpress theme as I said before
LOL (or not) you are right, I totally took a long way around the bridge there. =) Now it's seem they are having problems loging into ftp. once they get that, were back on track

are you hosting your blog on wordpress.com or your own domain and hosting? I wouldn't post anything with your username either.. black it out next time. someone can screw you if they wanted to. You should ask the mods if they can remove or something.

in not to familiar using wordpress hosted at wordpress.com so im going to confuse you or anyone any more. Hopefully someone will pick it up and help you out that knows that area.
