How to Set up Google Analytics in WordPress blog?

hi Guys

I need to set up Google Analytic in Word press Blog.

please advise and reply me how can i add analytic code to these blogs?

there is a plugin called ultimate-google-analytics.

 

copy the code and paste it to your footer.php

Go to this page and download the plugin. Download it, upzip it, and read the readme file.

Then upload it to your wordpress directory. /wp-content > plugins >

Log into your wordpress and go to plugins tab and active it.

in the Google Analytics end.

go to Create New Website Profile and follow the steps.

back in your wordpress area you'll have to enter a tracking ID - It will start with a UL xxxxxx-xx

check it again tomorrow and make sure everything is tracking in analytics

2. Before require_once(ABSPATH . WPINC . '/template-loader.php'); past code

How to upload plugin to wordpress directory ??
/wp-content > plugins

 

where and how to open footer.php ??

 

where is wp-blog-header.php???

 

You need to use FTP program and navigate to the plugins directory.

 

Use either CPanel's filemanager or FTP Client,
Put the file inside /wp-content/plugins/


Or you could just log into your administration area, click on "Design", "Theme Editor", look for "footer.php"
Paste the analytics code before </body>
