    Hi

    7 Negatives

    1. It's only in its first beta.
    2. You won't have any add-ons.
    3. You can't synchronize.
    4. You may draw the short stick on standards.
    5. You're giving advertisers extra ammo.
    6. The dropdown bar is dropped.
    7. You lose some history power.

    7 Positives

1&2 - I do not know much about this multiprocess thing for different tabs, but wouldn't that draw more resources if each tab exists as a separate web browser essentially?

3 - I want control over my programs which would requirebuttons with which to accessoptions. It may be from the great and powerful Google but I still want all choices to be mine.

4 - Okay, that would a nice feature to have, to add search engines, but I would not want it automate, again, all choices on my computer should ultimately be mine.

5 - Firefox 3 can do exactly what "other browsers require third-party add-ons to provide this capability," without any add-ons.The general tab in the options menu.

6 - I would not need nor want a dynamic homepage myself, but I am sure many do and cannot say this would be bad, confusing/annoying at times possibily, but that would be a person-to-person thing.

7 - This does not seem to greatly impact one's browsing experience so I can find nothing possibly wrong with this feature, beyond some possible ethical issues, but that would again be person-to-person and can be dealt with by parental-filters.

As users, we should be upset. As publishers, it should lead to higher CTR.

Biggest benefit for me is the execution & support of Java. The implementation of JS 8 will put Chrome on the charts incredibly fast. Check the benchmark chart for Google Chrome, IE, Firefox & Safari here:
    http://www.internetbrowserchrome.com/
Really amazing perfomance by Chrome if you compare executing javascripting in other browsers

Despite all the raving reviews and rwin2007 trying to whore his site, I can't escape the feeling that Chrome is just another shiny piece of dung. Of course, it will help the other browsers grow (that's what fertilizers do), but still just a piece of dung.

Actually it uses less memory from what Ive noticed, however the more tabs you open, the more it uses. But with just one tab open in chrome, and one tab open in FF, Chrome uses about 50% less

Um, well, ok. No one said it wasn't.
    But you will.
    Synchronize what?
    False. Uses advanced standards compliance.
False. No user information is collected when you are surfing.
    ?
    False.
Your positives sound like negatives and they are largely untrue, too. I don't have time to respond to them now.
