    It depends on many many factors, PR of pages, deeplinks and site structure. It could never happen if the site structure is wrong.

    ..the best result is go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/ then create a sitemap..as soon sitemap already created by google you can see a stats for indexing,cache,error warning..etc.

    It's takes a day or two to get indexed in Google. However don't expect to get all your 10000 pages in the index all at once.
    Build quality links and over the time Google will deeply index your site. It takes time to gain trust in the search engine.

    social bookmarking can get your site indexed quick. thats for the main page or the story page you submit. for the entire site, it based on site navigation as Matt says. if you have a blog, it will have good navigation and if you have a site then make sure you have a sitemap. also depends on how frequently google bot visits your site. if you have a blog, then you can use your recent blog feed here on DP to get more google bot visit to your blog

    Easy thing is put your site in google webmaster tool and add a sitemap. second thing is use your blog or blog feed here in DP so that a fast indexing can happen. OK

    If you have incoming links to several of your pages, those will start getting indexed quickly.. Upload the sitemap.. and check after a week or so and increase your crawl rate in google webmaster tools.
