API - Get any avatar for any messenger id

First of all you don't need to have an account

just browse the following url, or make a php script that will read it and save the result image if you need it.

just replace heregoestheyahooid with the yahoo messenger id.

here you go. Free avatars. Meet new people or just have fun with it.

You're welcome all. Btw: it's api like this that is used to check if someone is online on yahoo (you know those "check to see if someone is on invisible mode" websites).

 

I dont get the whole point..

I just see my yahoo avatar when i replace it with my id !

 

soulzripper, that is the whole point: With this url you can see the avatar for any person without the need of you adding him/her. So for example if you try some nice girl names and find a cute girl then boom you meet someone new.

Or if you are curious to check dp members to see if they have a yahoo id same as the dp username you can now. Or just make a software or application that gets avatar of any person and downloads them so that anyone can put that as his avatat, etc

 

Is there any way to get history of avatars from yahoo messenger??
