I'm sorry, but I have to call you out on this. The Middle East has been far from peaceful for hundreds of years. This isn't just a recent thing. I don't know of the best way to really fight terrorism. I know that we have to do something. What is your recommendation to counter terrorism? Do you want us to lavish terrorists with roses until they decide they no longer want to kill us?

im against all violence period...i have 0 respect for alquaida and their "cause" if i dont mention them in my posts it does not mean i agree with anything they do...it only means i consider alquaida beyond discussion...the US gets mentioned all the time because its the US who imports most of the violence worldwide and is not such a no brain target like lesser terrorists (alquaida) where a fire burns do not add more gasoline... lets get realistic no propaganda...things are what they are the middle east is a war torn region...we cant turn back time and undo all the wrongs...but what you can do (you means US army) is cut terror where it hurts the most: the support of the local people instead of decades of oppression you should use your money and power to bring the middle east out of the stone age...for every bomb you drop (and some cost 100.000-s of $$$) you could build them a mosque or hospital or school or well...you could make real friends with influential muslim leaders and offer their population real aid without the US army being involved... in short: you could leave your enemy without ANY ammo this title "60 avghani children killed" is ammunition that will be used against you...its the cement in alquaidas wall of terror it keeps the bricks together..."they MURDERED 60 of our children" is a mighty strong argument for an oppressed people...alquaida just grew stronger with the dead 60 children theres no debating it...youre well aware of the negative connotations the word "american" carries with it and its not too hard to guess why... make no mistake: there will always be people who will attack you...but a terror free world is an unrealistic goal that can not be achieved with yet more violence...pulling out of iraq and avghanistan and the whole world for that matter would be a bitter pill for US army pride to swallow...it would kinda mean accepting defeat/the error of ones ways...but it would shut up a lot of crazy extremists... a huge # of muslims do not agree with alquaida and a huge # of them are pissed off at alquaida AS WELL as the USA...all you have to do is show them some respect by treating them as real humans and respecting their 3rd world country (because they will all one day have nukes btw) and the integrity of their country...respect the word "muslim" and not try to make it out as something evil or the new "communism"... guys like bin laden just want you out of the middle east (this does not reduce their crimes in any way)...the middle east is no business of yours it was there 1000-s of years before the USA...their demands are not that unreasonable (this does not make their bombs reasonable) ...bin laden does call for "the destruction of israel" but this is just silly talk israel is well prepared to defend itself and they are not angels either... the problem with most americans is their blind faith in the "#1" army in the world that brings them the #1 problems in the world...make peace with your enemies...bomb them with good will and aid...never give them a reason to speak badly about you...be a real world leader not a world oppressor...be more like ghandi and less like bush... bush and binladen are just 2 extremist assholes...learn from their mistakes and use your might and money to plant good not evil... truth be told: in the real world mighty corporations have mighty interests and the real needs of the people take a hike and democracy is just a piece of paper you get every 4 years...

This is essentially what is trying to be accomplished there now. In case you don't know, we have built hospitals and schools and pushed towards furthering education in the region. We are also encouraging womens rights and generally just trying to catch them up to speed with the rest of the world. In the way we have these terrorists who have flowed over the borders from surrounding countries. They are blowing up children next to schools and hiding in mosques for protection. Not everything there has been gloom and doom. We're not just dropping bombs sporadically in case you thought so. In fact, a huge problem has been that we'll takeover a region, get back up on its feet, clean out terrorists. Then once we leave that area it will get taken back over by terrorists. This is why we sent more troops to hopefully hold onto the areas that we have. But that hasn't been that great of an idea. I hope that the Iraqi's really do feel that they should start protecting themselves. Up until now they haven't done a very good job.

Here is confirmation that 90 civilians did indeed die in the attack, which include 60 children and US military "lied" about it. My family members had very little problems with the locals. In fact, many supported their efforts while they were there. You have a terrible problem with only looking at one side and not the whole picture. You are quick to point out civilian deaths when they result from the US troops. However, this is a daily basis on behalf of the terrorists. You don't think the locals notice though? It is obvious that you don't.
