If you ever want to make money you will have to start over, learn how to edit and write good English if you plan on operating an English Directory. Quality and editorial integrity is required to operate a directory; anything else is a link farm.
I would just point out -> dir.yahoo.com Stoner is right though - your english directory does not have a chance when the google ads have better grammar and spelling than the content on the main page.

People tend to pay for listing when a directory has good PR. In addition to building up a lot of back links, you also ought to be doing on-site optimization. Quality content will bring your site up on the search engine result pages, which in turn will bring you money, depending on how you plan to benefit.
