It is a start, it is at least something. Just keep writing and building backlinks so how do you think the large webmaster oriented blogs make their dosh? Only by selling their own services? No... But I agree with you that AdSense is not the best thing for a webmaster blog.
I make 5$ a day - thats less than I pay for server, domain and so on. But I don't demand more - the fun of playing webmaster is worth the difference of money
Adwords is CPC so if your blog readers are tech/web savvy then your CTR may be lower? Perhaps use a combination of CPC and CPM ads?? Just my thoughts, though they may be wrong!
that is pretty good...when you get more article..each old article earn you 0.01 ....you will eventually earn lots more
I have a LOT of experience with Digg (used to sell guaranteed digg front page content creation/promotion). Tech niche is perfect for Digg, all you really need to do is write an article for link bait. Write something thats borderline crazy but believable/true, submit it to digg. Hope for the best. Blogs are hard to monetize, so throw up some CPA offers (I liked AzoogleAds.com); throw up offers relevant to your post of that day, and throw it inside the post, maybe even talk about it. I made a bundle from reviewing a tech gadget, finding the CJ.com link for it, getting the review of the product dugg. Had at least 80k visitors that day, over 2000 clicked my affiliate link. Not only that, the creator of the product contacted me and sent me a bunch of cool gadgets and stuff that was still in BETA. Lots of ways to monetize, you just gotta find the one that works best for you. AR
Have you heard a story called Hen That laid Golden Eggs The same is the case with Google Adsense. Slow and Steady <<== Make this your policy and you could earn a lot.
If you're spending more than $1825 a year on server and domain, there's something wrong. Transfer your domain to Godaddy, and find a good multiple domain hosting account. Theoretically, with a simple multiple account (8 IP addresses) + 8 domain names (read 8 different sites) you should be paying no more than $150 and if you find a hosting company that gives you a free domain, you pay less than $150 a year. I thought nobody would be able to shock me, but you, mate, really did shock me!
$.02 a day means it's time to retire, man! You've made it! Keep working at it and that $.02 will grow exponentially. That's just *my* $.02.
its just due to lack of traffic coz ur blog is "born baby" but when ur traffic will be increased ur clicks will be automatically increase. Which will bring more $. Remember 3 things: 1- ur niche 2- Ad placement 3- Traffic
No you shouldn't be happy. Minimum payout for Google is $100. $0.02 per day means you will need to be going for over 13 years before you get a check. Work on Traffic. Write unique content that people will find interesting. Work on your site by adding original articles. That $0.02 per day will increase.
