To say frankly, the design is very poor except that background image. The images added in the post are very big and are overlaying on the sidebar which makes the design looks ugly. Work hard and make it nice. Good luck.
Beautiful and catchy site. added it to my bookmarks. Try other colour combinations like orage and light green they look attractive on black background.

yes you have to take the size of the picture into consideration i suggest you use the lightcode effect if you want to enlarge a picture for a bigger view

I visited your site and see some problem. My browser is Opera. Your Category enters your white picture. I think modification is needed.
You need a new template bad. The colors are not that appealing and the text overlaps and some parts of it are not even shown.
simple. elegant. clean. i especially loved the background pic. but i think you should adjust the image size as it overlaps the menu. aside from that, your site is great!
Based on some of the above comments I was expecting to dislike the page design, but I thought it was fine. It wasn't fantastic, though, and for a site about the best visual art I think you could use more of an artsy look. Also, some of your photos bleed out into the right column.
