Need designer to modify a Flash template from Template Monster

I'm considering buying a template for one of my new sites from TemplateMonster and I've found one that I like but it's in Flash. My Flash isn't that great anymore and I just don't have time to brush up on it to modify this template. What would take me a few days to modify will take a good Flash designer probably a few hours. Hit me up with your rates and examples of your work and if I like what I see I will shoot you a PM with the link to the template I'm talking about and we can go from there. Thanks!

    Hi,

I can do this for you but you need to be a bit more specific as to what amount of changes you will need.

Please show us what template you want to buy, and what sort of changes you will need...as a rough guide, I would usually charge $20/h.

    Let me know...

By the way, I just wanted to point out that TemplateMonster templates are quite a pain to update, since the guys who did them, are guys that used old ways of writing actionscript (Flash MX and before), and the code is all over the place, and is very limiting as to what you can actually do with.

As a suggestion, visit this site , where you will find much better looking templates, cheaper and 10 times easier to update. On top of that, they have a lot more flexibility to do exactly what you'd want.

If you still need any help, let me know...

    Cheers

higreg7 knows what he is talking about. I hate modifying Template Monster Flash templates. You have to search through the whole file and decipher the script.

Nothing in the template has easily recognizable instance names!

That's right, basically, with those templates, what you see is what you get. Forget about adding any functionality, unless you ask your dad to help you.

Most of the time, it would be quicker to re write everything from scratch....

Guys, forget about TemplateMonster, it's like buying a peugeot 205 when you could have a Lamborghini for the same price, as stated in my above post...
