This is good post but still i have some different opinion for the given point..here i have placed my ideas.. Directories are no more beneficial specially when you are talking about page rank juice.. for paid listing..Google strictly prohibited link selling and link purchasing just to increase PR. they have separate section to complain about website who are selling links for only pass PR. so, no recommendation of link purchasing from high pr directories and high pr websites which are totally different in theme and product from your websites. Sponsored listing will not help in SEO and Page rank... It is not a part of search engine optimization. Digg is not a article directory, IT is social networking sites where you can write a small paragraph about your website or pages. IT will not help much in page rank increase. It will help to get more traffic if your page having more diggs and can stay long on home page of digg.com Agree Again, this is not helpful to increase your ranking in search engines..this is not a part of SEO.. you can increase traffic for your website but not rankings.
