Here is my try. I've resized it to a small size so as you can get the look & feel. Usually I just post my work without copyright stuff so you can enjoy, but this one took me some time, I'd be really sad if it was stolen. The original width is ~800px. You can put ads between the header and the navigation parts, and above the 'about this article' box. Regards, Ben
@benobo - i like the design. dislike the header but i rekon that regiter button and the stuff around that is sweet. I like how u hav gone different from the others and instead of a full width image u hav gone for less and crap next to it. Love the concept... But like I said dislike the header / logo bit. @jokerullz - Not quite wat we are looking for. Like we have pretty much said we would like a graphic thing under the menu or in there sumwhere. Also the whole template seems to be 2-3 different shades of greyish blue lol... We don't want it to like like sumone will see it... become depressed... then kill themselves lol try spice it up a bit

Another Big Long reply =D EDIT: Also just to confirm this is a joint project with me and Killermule =D. Okay firstly @Joker - This is based on your last design. Its a bit too much red, add in some blue. Try changing the header I dont really like that image, the logo, or the fact the login is above the logo. For the second group of posts, make the gap between them the same as the vertical gap. Also move the category to the far left. Apart from that it looks great. @ Josh - I like what you have done so far, especially the curved posts. Try changing the two middle posts title backround from grey to blue or maybe red? Apart from that what you have shown so far it is my favorite just finish it off. @ badmaskata - its nice a couple of changes. Change the world part so there is a gap above it and the width is the same as the two posts below, change the logo. Change the green backround for the links to red or blue. Remove the post date from the last post. And try to change the color of the red. @ Benobo - I really like this one. A couple of things, try to separate the two middle posts by some kind of box. and try a different formatting for the title and subtitle (details eg the category). Make the first post (flash thing) just one box and I like the roundness maybe a flat top edge then rounded bottom corners. Basically a wider version of the biggest box there atm, also make it less tall. On the last post remove the details on the right hand side and get rid of the post date. Its a nice theme though try those modifications. Also I preferred the first header, but I don't really like the second one try using the same colors in a different layout. @ Hetenzaur - Nothing i can really say I just dont really like the whole design, use the logo as your inspiration and design it around that and make it less business template like. @ KatesRobyn - I dont like the header The navigation bar is good but the login and password seem a bit disjointed, maybe try placing them ontop of each other? I dont really like the shadow around the first image flash post thing. Try doing the flash thing with the grey border on the bottom with text there. I dont really like the middle black bar navigation thing.. maybe try a blue or red? Also I like the bottom post style, but I dont need a sidebar, and I need the two double posts as well. So remove the images above the posts and the big text and replace it with posts which I described. Shmoe

@ benobo - Try modifiying the first header you had, I dont really like that one, although the layout of it is fine. Make the dark grey navigation flat along the bottom not curved and make it the same width as the main part below. Put in the flash box you see here http://startanonlinebusiness.net/ rather than that bit you have currently eg the web industry revolutionized... and the rss box and the register box. Try putting in some images in the second two boxs that are vertical rectangles the height of the text and try a different formatting for those titles how to boost your pagerank. Remove the \/ above the category and remove the little icon then put the category on the left and the comments on the far right. Same with the box below. Then add a rounded bottom to the footer (the vertical mirror of the navigation bar). Then put underneath a text line for A copyright notice (kind of like sorensons) @ sorenson - Try experimenting with different headers, that one is okay though, move the registration section contents up a bit it seems a bit off center. Also change the buttons and the text entry boxes they look a bit dull and square with just a gradient on them. Flash thing okay, posts okay (except move the category to the left and remove "posted in:". Remove the date stamp on the second post. Try copying the boxes you used above and see what that looks like. The footer is okay, just change the red things if you change the header. Shmoe
