Will Google add Chrome browser refferals?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by nihangshah, Sep 3, 2008.

Google recently dumped Firefox referrals and launched their own browser.

While many people made few dollars from Firefox referrals, will Google do the same to promote their new Chrome browser?

    What do you think?

Google works in Mysterious ways. Who knows, Maybe Chrome is actually a secret business venture between Mozilla and Google to draw even more IE, Opera and Safari Fans to themselves. Just my thought :p

Could be possible but i aint too sure since the adsense referrals system is already retired, its mostly unlikely.

    why?
they don't really make anything by people using it.it would cost them a lot more by paying referrals.
they have prime advertising real estate right here.
why would they want to spend millions on referrals?
...unless they have cut some deals with the other search providers. ;)

Zodiac: if people will use Chrome in some time (a year) when they will be used to, you will see much more ads there ) This will bring google new billions. Compared to millions paid to referalls it's nothing.

It sounds like most everyone has already tried it, in which case there would not be many surfers left to refer it to.. LOL

    it's any ads. ;)

    don't see that happening.
it is not something that they came up with, they use code from other browsers.
if they put ads on the browser,it would look real bad for the company and people using it will drop.

I think they will. But that will not be sometime soon.

When all the initial craze dies down.. when all the people who want to download have downloaded, then only it will start.
