order doesnt arise from chaos , any sensible normal person would understand this and if this is so, that at least this should be taught as well as the atheistic notion or fantasy that order arises from chaos. Just because u say so doesnt mean that god cant be explained in some parts scientifically. I think alot of atheists have alot of bitterness that make them a bit biased.

Stox ok, but who said i dont believe in evolution, i have always stated that i do, and i have stated that its also possible that the mechanisms for evolution probably isnt something that is in their dna by chance. Like i said everything has a purpose.
    god bless:D

Is there anyway to add a poll after a thread has been started? I think the "for or pro" teaching is greater than the "anti's."

Well first off, order does often arise from chaos. Nature generally takes the path of least resistance. There couldn't just be rampant chaos because the universe would be in shambles obviously, as any normal person would understand.

This however doesn't prove that God can be explained 'in some parts' scientifically. It isn't even a matter of what your religion is, anybody that's saying God can be explained scientifically is confused. I would even go as far to say that the statement is an insult to God, if one so exists.

It was just a speech. Everyone is expecting Biden to wax her in the upcoming debates.

She was absolutely amazing! I was floored and as she progressed through the speech, I could not help but smile and think to myself "Obama is in serious trouble."

I was a bit concerned at first when McCain picked her, but I believe tonight, our country saw exactly why he did.

And Rudy...heh! Rudy ripped Obama and Biden to shreds.

Tonight was a good night for Republicans.

Yup. According to the National Enquirer Sarah Palin had an affair with one of her husband's business partners.

Remember that National Enquirer broke the John Edwards affair story and we all know how that turned out. Did they get this one right too? They'll be following up on the story next week.

The McCain campaign is "threatening to sue" the National Enquirer over the story.

This is the Enquirer's response to the McCain campaign's bluster:

"The National Enquirer's coverage of a vicious war within Sarah Palin's extended family includes several newsworthy revelations, including the resulting incredible charge of an affair plus details of family strife when the Governor's daughter revealed her pregnancy. Following our John Edwards' exclusives, our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign's vetting process. Despite the McCain camp's attempts to control press coverage they find unfavorable, The Enquirer will continue to pursue news on both sides of the political spectrum."

I think it was a poor speech. She was nasty. She sounded angry. She didn't say a single thing of substance. She flat out LIED about the "bridge to nowhere" (which she supported) she also lied about Barack Obama's record on multiple occasions.

I also find her personality type to be extremely annoying on a personal level. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. It gives me nightmares to think of this woman as President of the United States (and all VPs should be judged on that standard - are they ready to step in and be President? she clearly is not.)

I am sure you have other valid reasons to see her as unfit to be VP, but to the casual observer, you risk seeming that you judge palin based on trivial factors like voice. ;)

Looks like the truth is stranger than fiction. Anyways wicca is a witchy, nature based religion, we need proof that Palin has been sacrificing virgins and such. ;)

I guess they are determined to dig up all her past pseudo or otherwise. Quite a baptism of fire for a young politician like her. Can't imagine the stress that she is facing right now. All eyes on her, whatever dirt that can be dug out was thrown at her.

yeah, kinda sad. But hope she is tougher and better for this and doesn't become cynical. Maybe she even expected these things. Biden must be jealous that he didn't get even quarter of her publicity and media value.

I thought the speech was just ok. I expected them to rip on Obamo and Biden, but you can bet your hairy ass they will fire right back. I do admit that they made me kind of think twice about voting for Obama there for a minute.

Looking at Palin and listening to her, I can't help but dislike her voice. and she looks really fake. It's like her eye glasses and clothes don't go with her. Kind of like a naughty school teacher in a porno film. She also strikes me as those women in the eye glasses commercials. But the speech wasn't bad. We'll see what happens with her. Seems like she has a lot of skeletons in her closet.

Judge people not simply by their outsides [looks, color] and other physical factors though.
