Hi everybody! I have a new website, www.ipodsrevealed.com(it's my first one so its not graphically stunning) that I posted to the web about three weeks ago. I added adsense about a week later. So far I have gotten over a thousand impressions but only one click, and thats from a friend. What am I doing wrong? I have both adsense for content and adsense links which I have heard gets better CTR. My alltime CTR is at .10% right now, what should I do?
The page looks almost completely messed up when I use the Opera browser. Same in Firefox. Same in IE 6. Did you even view your page in any of the above browsers???
What do you mean by "messed up" I viewed my site from several diferent computers. I'm pretty sure they all had internet explorer 7, though. Could you please elaborate?
Do you have a very high bounce rate by any chance? I suggest you switch to a word press blog and install a free template to make your site look more professional. Best of luck.
Yes. The design is very bad...and I think that is the reason you are not getting good CTR. Try to switch to another design or switch to wordpress.
First i will sat change template or give some space in between header and adsense ads , they are not looking fine over there . Ads should be placed in those place which can attract users and get clicks .

I have to agree with everyone here that you need to do a bit of work on the design. Installing WP with a free theme will do wonders to your layout and hopefully help increase your CTR. Good luck!
Holy moly. I agree with the others, adsense is the least of your problems. What design program do you use? There are about 1001 places to get free templates, including wordpress. Heck, your host probably has some free ones or a website tonight type program that you can use.
Your site is really messed up when I checked it up using firefox browser (. perhaps you should check your site with one or more browser not only IE 7.
Too ugly a design and it's not even ranked by Alexa and all. Don't tell us that you got thousand impressions and got one click. because It doesn't look like it got thousand impressions at all. There is no adsense anywhere to see. It's a complete mess Better get rid of adsense and design the site better, then get some traffic to it. Then implement adsense.

Try different ad placements and see which one gives you the best CTR. Also try different ad units to see which one converts the best
