i am not running for the VP position.
i have no objection to any one practicing any religion in their privacy of their home or the comfort of their church. The problem is when there is an attempt to limit other peoples choice and mixing ones religious belief in politics.
the sex ed curriculum should be written by professionals in health and psychological experts. as we can see by this example it is pretty necessary

it is not one occurrence. she drinks she had sex at young age and she got pregnant.
maybe if they stopped her from drinking and hanging out with the wrong group the young lady would not been in such situation.
on top of that it seems the boy is going to the convention.
    what is that about?

How many kids do you have, pizzaman?

EDIT: Oops. Just read your earlier post.

So kind of you to educate all of us on the responsibilities of parenting. Mr ZERO EXPERIENCE has the balls to berate parents with kids that don't listen.

What makes you think that the parents didn't teach her everything she needed to know? By your own statements you pretend that Bristol got drunk because the parents did not teach her any better. You are laughable.

Do you really think young pregnant girls get to sue their parents if they get pregnant? Well why not? Because the kid would lose. Why? Because the parents can only teach the kid what not to do. It is the kid's decision whether or not to follow their parents teachings. Bristol Palin did not. Unless you can porve otherwise, just shut up.

Do you really think that it is in some way the parents fault that she got drunk? Do you really believe that Bristol did not know the legal drinking age? How in the world can you make such absurd claims?

What is it you don't understand about THEY DON'T LISTEN!!!

    none.
do you belive she has been a good parent and why?
every one wants the best for their children but not every one is a good parent. we know if she is a good parent or not based on how the children act. drinking hard liquor , having sex at 16/17 sure does not represent a lot of parenting skills.
i have not read this article but there seems just the pictures are a good indication of her being neglected

I don't see a good way to overcome all the sexualization of kids on TV. Every single show about high school age kids revolves around sex. It seems that the notion of having sex is portrayed as the norm and anyone not doing it is some loser. I think that is one of the biggest problems. It is hard to get kids to understand that what they are seeing on TV is not normal - or at least should not be.

You don't necessarily need to have kids to know a lot about them. Will help though.

Yeah and most teenage movies too. We can only hope that such a trend falls out of fashion. It will never go away entirely though.

    @jazz
children not listening to their parents is a sure sign of parents failure in communicating with their children.
care to tell us the difference between good parents and bad parents?

Well then, by your definition, I must be a real piece of crap. I have raised three kids and all of them have done things that they regret.

You better lead the perfect life or your parents will be just as bad as me. Must me nice to know that no matter what stupid things you do, it was your parent's fault.

Who gives a shit!? Why is this a big deal?

George Bush was AWOL, had DUI's and snorted Coke!

Let's keep this confined to one thread!
