Google Says, Report paid links

Has anyone noticed inside the Google Web Master tools section you can now report paid links?

I wonder what this will bring to the market. Sorry f this topic was already started... just send me a link or something to the current topic!

I reported a paid link and it's Google.com from their search results! I wanted to remind them they also sell links!

Seems buying links isn’t bad unless it’s off topics or out of your niche category!

Good to know that. However, what if people start to exploit it?

Buying links isn't bad unless you're trying to game the search engines by doing it. As a link seller you can indicate that this isn't your intent by adding nofollow to the link.

The links that Google sells (that you reported) aren't designed to help those sites' rankings - and they don't.

Google most likely does an election like system where if you are only reported once for paid links they ignore it, they simply do not have the workforce to check up on every paid link report. But if you are reported like by 20 different people then I would guess they investigate.

Google wants all the money...it's that simply. They can sell all the links they wish, but if you do...good by to your site in the Google SERP's. Yes, it is there search engine, so they can do as they wish with it, but we need to eat too, so I say do as you wish, just don't ADVERTISE selling PR. I have PR, but don't sell it. I do sell traffic and they cannot dispute this. Will I get slaped in the future? Maybe, but I am not about to report anyone else...because MOST sites do it.

it's a great tool, i love it, I've reports 35 sites to date, but I only report those sites that are quite obvious and blatant in advertising space on their site for paid links.
