You don't really need to be submitting your sites to anywhere. Just build some links and they'll be found.

Yes, you really do not need to submit your site into search engines. Just do quality link building and you will automatically see your site into databases of search engines. Till today I have not submit my sites except Alexa.

But for tracking traffic of my site i have placed code of Google analytic and submit my site to Google webmaster tool as well as also in yahoo site explorer.

You don't need to submit your site to all these search engines manually. They'll automatically crawl and index your site within a couple of weeks. All you have to do it to write good, quality content and build some decent backlinks. I don't even submit my site to Google.
