We need a banner ad for out T-N-T Truckmount. We need a play on the Astroids video game. http://www.play.vg/games/4-Asteroids.html Were looking for 3 pages. 1 use the game theme, 2 Best Truckmount in the galaxy" 3 " Nobody builds a more reliable truckmount than Judson"

Following spec needed.

Mechanical Requirements. Banner ads must be 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high, and must
be submitted in GIF (animated or single pane), PNG, or JPEG formats. At this time we
cannot display Flash movies. Ad images must be less than 250 kilobytes

Let me speak for the guy who needs the banner, One frame needs no text what so ever, just the Asteroids game in action (with the meteors being blown up from lazer shots coming from the triangle shaped "gun" ) Google up the game to see it in action, then a 2nd frame with the line"Best Truckmount in the galaxy" followed by a third with the "Nobody builds a more reliable truckmount than Judson/logo

This is Les with Judson.
I'm still not up to my 25 post's, so I cannot start a thread yet.

What I was thinking was the same as Mike. Maybe go to 4 images.
The first being the astroid game in action, and have more time between images, slow them down a lot.
Judson will be needing about 15-20 banners in the future.

This will actually take more than 4 frames just to animate the asteroids,
But I will update my banner and try to keep the file size to a minimum

 

Exactly as a4hire said - it'll take a lot of frames to animate the game. Look at eximator's banner. Its almost a meg, and probably has a ton of frames. (Not saying it isn't nice, it's pretty darn good. Its just a huge file)

I'm still going to be entering, however. Just finishing up one thing real fast before I can start on this one.

 

Actually file is 97kB big it has 105 frames , so i lowered animation quality of Asteroids game, but if contest runner want me to increase quality of game i think it will be additional 20 - 30kb.

I tried to keep the asteroid animation down, used about 5 frames for that. Will depend on the quality level and file size that the CH wants. Mine is currently at 31k

 

Oh pfft. I'm an idiot. I misread the filesize. Erm...erm....excuse...need an excuse...WORLD OF WARCRAFT! I blame that.

Haha, this was one of the more fun projects I've done in a while. The animation of the game is a capture from me actually playing it.
