a slave of allah, Are you at any point going to have a shot at thinking for yourself or is your ability to discuss something limited to copy and pasting scripture?
you can believe what ever you want, and my believe is different. who said that? every man will die either they believe or not. Firaun was a very successful man, and your point is? watch this and think, is there a God? This universes are just to complex to run by it self. Well that is my believe.
suppose you bring an article which support your idea, wheather it is scientific or social or whatever, shall I say the same thing for you? I don't see any problem in copying from the Quran or any other sources.
If an article "support my idea" then it will support my idea because what it says is supported by evidence, demonstrable and factual, Not simply because it happens to be written in a book which i assume to be true. Do you not see how the contents of the quran is absolutely worthless to everyone except those who already believe it? For instance, If i believe batman exists and that a batman comic is truthful would me copy and pasting from a batman comic be evidence that batman actually exists? It's not a crime to use your brain and form your own thoughts.
Then you would be denying logic and reason and the cause of you believing it is worthless is entirely based on it contradicting what you already think is true. It's pretty much the definition of ignorance. If an article is of a scientific nature it isn't the words or the book containing them that makes it true, it's the method used to form the conclusions. Trust me, To me the quran is a worthless book full of worthless words, Which become increasingly worthless when they are copy and pasted by someone frightened of thinking for himself. By copy and pasting reams of the quran as a replacement for using your brain you not only turn people against the blinkered world view of islam but you also get in the way of productive dialogue. How sad. seriously, it's pitiful. You seem to have a very low opinion of yourself, Even your screen-name describes you as being in a state of servile ownership. Religion seems to give it's followers something similar to battered wife syndrome; "i'm worthless and treated badly, but it's my fault".
But the fact that you accept the validity of these so called "miracles" is because you accept the authority of this ancient book, Without question. That's the point, The authority of the book is your reason for believing it's contents to be true. Without the brainwashing no sane person would pick up the quran, read it and then say "hmm, makes sense". Lots of fictional literature contains no scientific inaccuracies, That in it's self isn't a testament to it's historical accuracy, Though the quran is littered with them. Talking stones, The sun setting in muddy pools, Need any more? The point is though, a work of fiction isn't true just because it may contain no scientific inaccuracies (even though the quran has many) I'm not saying i am. I'm sure many people find the book to be a laughable, worthless piece of poorly written fiction. The point is, I do think it's worthless, even if you don't think i do, Which was the point you were making. Yeah, That's what's sad about it. You have been beaten down, Forced to not even trust your own thoughts and removed of all self worth to the point where your life can only have meaning now if you believe a work of fiction to be true and devote every breath to a death cult that has convinced you that a vapid, intellectually void existence here will provide a pleasant here-after, But you gotta die first (preferably in battle)! The fact that you are happy with it is precisely why it's sad and worthy of my pity.
If not God then there has to be something there. Consider this; There are two possible options as to how everything came to existence. (a) Nothing created everything (By everything i mean the universe etc) or (b) Something created everything. Let's consider (a) for a second. You would all agree that this is an impossibility. You can't have nothing create something because there was nothing in the first place. It has to start somewhere. Something has to get things started, something that was always there.
I like how the OP ask in singular, God made us, or we made him? why not for example? Gods made us or we made them?
Agreed.. Normally a man thinks about God by his limited power of mind but he is beyond his thoughts... You really think this universe created by an accidents...why this accident happened to create 1 livable Earth.. We think we live in big city, state, country or world.. A person with little sense can understand how small or tiny we are to God...This all thing is not all accident also have a look at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=968433
Oh boy, the age old debate of "Is God Real?" wrapped up in a different question. In case you haven't figured it out yet, we're not about to solve this debate on the DP forums anytime soon.
