Sorry for starting too many topics first of all. I am not spamming but learning. I have heard from many affiliates that having my own landing page would increase my conversion rate. But I have some doubts regarding landing page. If I need to have my own landing page, can I write some articles in sites like hubpages, ezinearticles and put the article's link in PPC? or do I need to have my own landing page. If I need to have my own landing page, then say for example I plan to market a fitness product and I don't own a fitness related domain, then do I need to register a new domain just for a single product's pre-selling page? Will that look good from the visitor's point of view?
You can make anything a landing page, but I suggest you get something that is your own. Domains and hosting aren't expensive. You also miss the fact that direct linking does absolutely nothing for you. Don't you want to ever get organic traffic?
Its better if you have your own domain, you can buy a domain and use a free webhosting. You can safe some money and your own domain make your more trustable for your customers.
A website belongs to you. You can do what you want with it. You won't be limited like you will with ezine, squidoo etc.
Having your own landing page will increase your conversion rate. Just be sure to make your landing page relevant to your ad copy. For example, if your ad copy says that you're giving away a free ebook, then your landing page should show exactly that without the visitor having to find his way through your site looking for the free ebook. You can buy a generic domain (e.g. icpathi.com) then use a fitness related file name (e.g. www.icpathi.com/fitness.html) as your landing page for a fitness product.
Another doubt. I make a landing page with my affiliate link. And the landing page reviews the product I market. So, if I give my landing page's link in PPC, then one who clicks my ad and visit my review page may doubt me, that why should I spend money to drive traffic for a review page? Am I clear? Is this anyway going to destroy the reliability over my landing page? And, to review a product, I should first buy it myself isn't it? what I understood is, being new to affiliate marketing, I should show my interest in marketing fitness products to see some profit. But I am not interested in buying a fitness product now. Then, How will I write a review on certain fitness product and keep it in landing page?
Some publishers will give you a copy for free to review. How on earth is providing people who want a review with a review going to destroy reliability?
Giving review will not destroy reliability. But what I asked is, I have written a review. What is the need for me to pay for someone to view my review? If I give my landing page link in PPC, then I am paying for it isn't it? If those who clicked on my link thinks it in that way, then my page may loose reliability isn't it?
OK, now I don't wanna try out a fitness product even if the publisher gives it free so that I can review it, but without trying out a fitness product, how will I review it? So, shall I try some other product to sell like SEO and all?
Don't worry about it, many people don't even know that you pay for those ads, and the fact that you're paying to advertise might also mean that you have a valuable product. Most of the biggest gurus use PPC in order to generate insane amounts of money, PPC is a very effective way of generating revenue, but it can be hard to set up a winning campaign if you're a newbie. That's how it's done, You redirect PPC to Landing Page, it works the best in most cases.
Thanks Ripped. If anyone can show their landing page, I would greatly appreciate it and would be thankful. I am still, totally confused about the domain of my landing page and how the landing page should be and all.
Good point, but do you think the end user even considers this? probably not. Next we think about SEO. You should be able to get ranked in the top 10 for product name review in Google within a few weeks. That's as good as PPC without paying for it.
Already sent you on PM my landing page for a product I promote, as well as two great landing page templates you might use
Yeah I downloaded and planning to edit the first template. thanks for it But the first template compares two product 'homecashcode' and 'sixfiguresyearly' and says homecashcode is better. Can we make such a review by comparing product 'a' and product 'b' and say product a is better? Will it not become any issue if product 'b' see that?
You mean that I would come up in search engine just without any other effort apart from PPC? If I understood right, then that sounds great.
Yes, you can make such a review, compare product A and B and state that product A is better and be clear about why is better. I'm using a 3-product review page, but 2 product review pages work well also if constructed correctly
Haven't tried it personally, but it is from a guru which has had tons of success with it, so I guess it should work really well
Get your own domain: least you can turn it into a proper website should you wish to get more involved and branch out to get that all important seo traffic. Plus you may like to flog it further down the line. Good Luck ;-)
