you pronster :D i actually thought about it. Imagine you are a 10 yr old watched pamela last night and next day you dad logs into your lovely chrome browser and boom...there you got it. lol

Chrome is suitable for adults only. They should put it on homepage. Infact this functionality is available in opera but they dont hijack you and recommend your recently visited sites. They let you add pamela if you want it there :D

Here's what I think makes Chrome awesome:

Tearable tabs (you can rip a tab off the tab bar into its own window)
The way it handles pop ups
Minimalistic interface (which means more screen room than every other browser)
Blazing fast (loads and renders faster than Firefox)
Tab crashes don't bring down whole browser
Awesomebar (its practically the same thing)
    Speed Dial
    Incognito mode (porn mode)

You can resize forms (for instance, I resized the form to create this post to make it HUGE)

.. Firefox doesn't have all of these things by default. The only thing Chrome is missing is adblock, then it'd be the perfect browser.

It should render the same as Safari.. so it really isn't another browser to worry about compatibilities with.

I like the Google Chrome but I think 'll stick to FF for a while. The Chrome loads quite slowly on me...(maybe its because of my pc i dunno) but i'll definitely test it anytime soon...

My impression about Chrome is that a super-fast browser, simple & easy to use. It seems that they use the Gecko engine.
Weak point: When I open to 56th tab on the browser, it runs not properly.

does anyone here noticed that after you install Chrome and even when Chrome's not in use, my firewall is telling me that Googleupdate is trying access internet..

I clicked ok and later again it's prompting me to approve it or not..

is this google tracking my internet behavior?

funny thing is i wasn't even browsing when googleupdate popped up.

so far, this is a very superior browser to IE in terms of speed and safe surfing. vs. Firefox that's a different story. firefox has way too many plugins to just abandon it. also, one leading thing i like and what other webmasters may appreciate about firefox i like is the save sessions. so far no saving session in chrome beta as far as i can tell.

I did not honestly have a ton of time to look at this program but I wanted to give it a try to see how it was with just occasionally browsing and how it was for business.

Firstly, I think this Google Vs Microsoft war is hilarious and if it continues to rage on like this, there will end up being a movie about it.

    Speed:
Well, at first it just seemed to load like every other browser until I started messing a bit more. It's fairly quick and the only negative comment I have on speed is when it hits a heavy page with a lot of videos, it might stall for a few seconds. Other than that.. I give huge props on the speed of the browser.

    Look:
I know this is only a beta and soon there will be tons of ad ons to cover the plain empty interface which you can almost hear an echo from, but I like it. It's simple.. it's easy to understand and navigate through and when it comes to my choice in browser... "Smaller is better" ;)

    Stability:
As for the stability, it was not overall bad but there were a few times I experienced some loading issues and errors but this was only on a few of the video heavy websites I visit often.

    Overall:
I would have to give this Browser a C+, because as of right now it's clean, quick and easier to navigate... the "security" features of that browser always make me nervous because you never know what Google is doing under the hood of your PC when you're connected through their browser.

Then again, maybe I'm just a paranoid.

This is EXACTLY why I will NOT use Chrome.

I don't want them knowing EVERYTHING about the way I surf.

    Guilty conscious?

I agree with you though.. I'm not too fond of Google knowing a lot of our personal information but then again, ISPs have logs of everything we do online anymore.
